\n Founded in 1998, the Association has accumulated many achievements over the course of 20 years since its inception. These achievements include establishing various guidelines, a clinical ladder for emergency nurses, a code of ethics for emergency nurses, as well as conducting seminars and educational courses. The frequent and varied educational seminars are unparalleled in other organizations of its kind. Needless to say, the accumulation of such achievements is consistent with the Association\u2019s purpose of \u201cpromoting the advancement, development, and dissemination of emergency nursing in order to contribute to the health, medical care, and welfare of the people.\u201d\n <\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\n More than 20 years after the Association was established, there have been several developments in the nursing community relevant to emergency nursing. One of them is the Specified Medical Acts Training System for Nurses. Many of the specific acts are in the emergency and critical care fields in medicine. Moreover, emergency nursing will be removed from the certified nursing field and integrated into critical care. Furthermore, if we focus on emergency nursing, many issues can be considered, such as the emergency medical care system for a super-aging society, collaboration between the community and emergency medical care in a comprehensive community care system, end-of-life stage care in the emergency field, and emergency medical care during frequent disasters.\n <\/p>\n
\n The Association has a crucial responsibility, and we are expected to address various issues based on our achievements to date. We request everyone\u2019s further cooperation so that we can continue to contribute toward the improvement of the health, medical care, and welfare of the people by performing the activities of each of our committees and enriching each seminar and education course.\n <\/p>\n
